LU teachers to take call on attendance of students

LUCKNOW: Teachers of Lucknow University and its attached colleges, who will be conducting online classes, will decide on the attendance of students suffering from medical complicati­ons even after testing negative for Covid-19.

The decision has been taken the university administra­tion on Wednesday.

The classes will resume from Thursday (May 20). “Students who have tested negative but are suffering from complicati­on or other health issues will have to inform their teachers and head of department who will decide about their attendance. Similarly, teachers and other staff having similar problems will have to inform the principal or vice chancellor and head of department for relaxation in attendance,” said Vinod Kumar Singh, registrar, LU.

Chishti Language Univ

Khwaja Moinuddin Chishti Language University will begin its classes and other academic activities online from May 20. “The decision was taken by vice chancellor Prof Anil Kumar Shukla on the basis of guidelines issued by higher education department,” said varsity spokespers­on Tanu Dang.

Online classes

City Montessori School has started online classes from Wednesday while La Martiniere Boys College will resume online classes from Thursday.
