Brothers donate ventilator to Covid hospital

LUCKNOW: Two Lucknow residents donated a ventilator worth Rs 10 lakh to a Covid hospital in the city on Friday. “Nandit K Srivastava (senior advocate) and his brother Anil Kumar Srivastava of Snow Foundation donated a fully automatic ventilator,” said Dr Abhishek Shukla, medical director, Aastha The Centre for Geriatric Medicine, where the ventilator was donated. “After assessing the need of the present Covid situation and having recently faced difficulty in getting treatment of their father-inlaw the late Basant Kumar who succumbed to Covid infection, they decided to generously donate the lifesaving machine,” said Dr Shukla.
