Cong launches ‘Har Ghar Ration’ drive

LUCKNOW: Uttar Pradesh Congress Committee launched “Har Ghar Ration” campaign to distribute food grains and other edible items to the needy on the occasion of former prime minister late Rajiv Gandhi’s death anniversary on Friday. “Our basic objective is to distribute ration to the needy during the pandemic to ensure that no one was left hungry,” said UPCC media and communication department chairman Lallan Kumar. Kumar said the campaign was launched from different offices in Bakshi Ka Talab assembly constituency area of Lucknow. Every ration packet distributed on Friday carried 5 kg wheat flour, 1 kg pulse, a litre oil, 1 kg onion, 1 kg potato, 500 gm salt, spices and two chocolates.
