JILANI OPERATED UPON FOR BRAIN CLOT

LUCKNOW : Former additional advocate general and secretary of All India Muslim Personal Law Board (AIMPLB) Zafaryab Jilani was operated upon for a brain clot by doctors of Medanta hospital on Friday.

Jilani, who was brought to Medanta hospital after he suffered a brain stroke at his office on Thursday, also tested Corona positive, which made his condition more critical.

Director of Medanta hospital Professor Rakesh Kapoor said, “Despite him being Covid positive, the doctors operated him to remove the clot. Presently, he is on ventilator support. His condition is serious but under control. A team of the critical care department is keeping a close watch on his health parameters.”

Meanwhile, the condition of veteran Samajwadi party leader Azam Khan is improving , he is on 2 litre per minute oxygen support at Medanta. Condition of his son Abdullah Khan is also stable.
