NON-COVID HOSPITALS ASKED TO ESTABLISH ‘POST-COVID CARE CENTRE’ IN WAKE OF THE GROWING POST-COVID COMPLICATIONS
LUCKNOW : The district administration on Friday directed the health department to ensure the establishment of a 100-bed paediatric ICU ward in Lokbandhu hospital, anticipating the third wave of Covid-19.
Also, the administration has directed the non-Covid hospitals to establish a ‘post-Covid care centre’ in wake of the growing post-Covid complications. The senior Nodal officer of Lucknow for Covid-19 Roshan Jacob on Friday held a meeting with the health department to chalk out plans for the anticipated Covid-19 third wave. In the meeting, the Covid in charge directed the officials to ensure the installation of a 100-bed paediatric ICU ward in Lokbandhu Hospital.
Besides, she also directed to establish a 40-bed post-Covid ward at Balrampur hospital.
In addition, she also directed the officials to ensure the establishment of the post-Covid care centre in the non-Covid hospitals.
