Free meal centre at Gandhi Bhavan
LUCKNOW : Atal Bihari Vajpayee Foundation has started a free meal centre for the poor and destitute at Gandhi Bhavan here on Friday.
Inaugurating the centre, state law minister Brajesh Pathak said rickshaw pullers, daily wagers, street vendors can walk into the centre for free meal.
He also served food to poor people and said the country was passing through a tough time and the centre and state governments were working day and night for the poor. “It’s the duty of individuals to pool resources to help the needy,” he said.
