GUV, CM, SP CHIEF CONDOLE SUNDERLAL BAHUGUNA’S DEATH

LUCKNOW: Governor Anandiben Patel has expressed her condolence­s on demise of renowned environmen­talist Sunderlal Bahuguna.

Bahuguna, who led the Chipko movement, died of Covid-19 at the All India Institute of Medical Sciences in Rishikesh on Friday. He was 94.

Condoling Bahuguna’s death, chief minister Yogi Adityanath said that the county would always remember his work for environmen­t.

In his condolence message, former chief minister Akhilesh Yadav said Bahuguna’s work for environmen­t was recognised at the internatio­nal level.

The former CM also condoled the death of former education minister of Uttarakhan­d Narendra Singh Bhandari.

THE CHIEF MINISTER SAID THAT THE COUNTY WOULD ALWAYS REMEMBER HIS WORK FOR ENVIRONMEN­T.
