4 killed in road mishap in Badaun

LUCKNOW: Four people including a mother and her son were killed while two others were severely injured in a road mishap in Badaun district on Friday night. The injured were rushed to the hospital where their condition is said to be stable. Chief minister Yogi Adityanath expressed his condolences towards the kin of the deceased and directed the local authorities to ensure proper treatment of those injured. SP of Badaun Sankalp Sharma said, “A moving car collided with a speeding pick-up van at a crossing under Bisauli police station area. Four people were killed in the incident. Our teams rescued the other injured and admitted them to the hospital.” Reportedly the accident occurred at a poorly lighted crossing on the road where the speeding pickup hit the car from the side.
