Former BHU VC Prof YC Simhadri succumbs to Covid

VARANASI : Former vicechancellor of BHU Prof YC Simhadri succumbed to Covid-19 in Vishakhap attanam of Andhra Pradesh on Saturday.

He was admitted to a hospital after being detected Covid-19 positive, said Vishwanath Pandey, former public relation officer of BHU. Pandey said that Prof Simhadri was the 21st vicechancellor of BHU.

He was a renowned academician and an excellent administrator. BHU family expressed grief over the demise of Prof Simhadri and Vishwanath Pandey paid tribute to Prof Simhadri.
