Barge toll rises, four more bodies found

The Indian Navy and Indian Coast Guard (ICG) on Sunday recovered the bodies of four more crew members of barge P305, which sank in the Arabian Sea after being clobbered by Cyclone Tauktae earlier this week, pushing the toll to 70. Navy divers also found the wreckage of barge P305 on the sea bed. Separately, 17 more bodies were found washed up at different beaches in Maharashtra, Gujarat and Daman. Authorities said they are coordinating with local officials to check if the bodies are of any crew members of the barges or other fishing boats.
