ONE BIG FAMILY!

An adorable pair of abandoned kittens were found in the trash by AJ Ulidan, in Bataan province, Philippines. She took them home and all her worries were put to rest when her pet rabbit, Harith, instantly forged a bond of love and began nurturing the kittens.

A PROUD MOMENT

Anvee Bhutani, an Indian-origin Oxford student, has emerged victorious in a closely contested byelection at the Oxford Student Union that saw the highest-ever turnout. Bhutani fought on a platform of reform across key areas of access and mental health at the university. Make way for the newly elected president!

DUTY FIRST

These health workers have gone above and beyond their call of duty by traversing large distances on foot. They crossed a river to offer assistance to three members of an isolated tribal hamlet in Kerala’s Palakkad district. Doctor Sukanya, health inspector Sunil Vasu, junior health inspector Saiju and driver Sajesh write a fine tale of tenacity, dedication and humanity.

SEVA DHARMA

The fundamentals of Sikhism revolve around seva and compassion towards all. Taking a step further, Nanded’s Gurudwara Takht Shri Hazoor Sahib will tap into its gold reserves of five decades to finance hospitals and healthcare. What a fine example of selfless service to mankind!

BABY’S OUT

Childbirth can be scary when unsupervised. Who would know this better than Erika Campbell, an Ontario , Canada resident, who delivered her baby on the way to the hospital. The moment was shot by her vlogger husband, and the video has gone viral on the internet! Netizens are wishing them well.

GIFT OF MOTHERHOOD

Animals have an innate maternal instinct. It’s like a chip inside their brains that impels them to protect and care for the most defenseless. Western lowland infant gorilla Hasani has been successfully settled with surrogate mother, 16-year-old Kera, at Bristol Zoo Gardens after his mother struggled to look after him.
