The two options

Most states have chosen the option of conducting shorter-duration CBSE Class 12 exams in home schools for major subjects

OPTION 1

Examination for major subjects may be conducted at ‘designated exam centres and in the existing format’, and for the minor subjects, ‘marks be calculated as per assessment based on performance in major subjects’

AT LEAST 2 STATES have chosen this option

OPTION 2

Many changes in format, including conducting exams at schools where the students are enrolled, reducing the duration of exam to 90 minutes, and switching to only multiple choice and short-answer questions. The process can be completed in 45 days and results can be declared within 15 days AT LEAST 15 STATES
