PRAYAGRAJ: A short film ‘Bhog’, shot in Prayagraj – in which a Class 7 student of Sangam city, Mrigank Rastogi, has acted – has been selected for screening at the prestigious Chennai Film Festival-2021. Owing to the pandemic, the date of the Chennai Film Festival-2021 is yet to be announced but it will be held in the online mode with films being screened through its website instead of in theatres.

‘Bhog’, directed by Jitendra Yadav, and starring Mrigank Rastogi, Abhilash Narayan and Madhavi Kushwaha in key roles was earlier selected and shown at the Asian Film festival.

The short film features a few interesting arguments between a priest and a boy named Golu, who lives with the priest to help him on the ghat daily and depicts how the priest finds God in children. “Mrigank has got multiple offers of films but owing to Covid-19 they are suspended at the moment,” says his father Shrikumar with pride.
