Post poll violence in WB: Delegation meets Guv
LUCKNOW: A delegation comprising several eminent people met governor Anandiben Patel and submitted a memorandum, addressed to the President, demanding an investigation into post election violence in West Bengal. “We have sought an immediate end to violence in Bengal and action against those behind it. We have also requested that all constitutionally valid steps be initiated to end politics of appeasement, linguistic issues and regionalism that is so prevalent there,” said Prashant Bhatia, former president of UP chapter of the Indian Industries Association (IIA).
