WEBINAR MARKS WORLD EMERGENCY MEDICINE DAY AT KGMU

World Emergency Medicine Day was celebrated by the King George’s Medical University on Thursday, with the department of emergency medicine organising a webinar ‘Journey from Emergency Room to Emergency Medicine’.

In this online meeting, the development and importance of emergency medicine was discussed by the experts. This meeting was convened by prof Haider Abbas, HoD, emergency medicine and was also attended by Dr Lokendra Gupta, chief of emergency medicine at Medanta, Lucknow, apart from residents of the department. A presentation was also made by Dr Utsav Mani. The department of emergency medicine was established at King George’s Medical University in 2016.
