PHARMACY INSTITUTE TO COME UP ON AKTU’S BARABANKI CAMPUS
LUCKNOW : Dr APJ Abdul Kalam Technical University (AKTU) will set up a Pharmacy Institute on its Barabanki premises, said vice chancellor, Prof Vinay Kumar Pathak while laying its foundation on Sunday.
The newly constructed academic and residential buildings were also inaugurated at the Institute of Engineering and Technology, Lucknow, the constituent institute of Dr APJ Abdul Kalam Technical University in a virtual event on Sunday.
The VC said that the construction of residential buildings in the university will definitely benefit the employees.
All the deans, officers and employees of the university participated in the online program.
Prof Pathak said that efforts had been made to make IET the best institution in the state. He said that the university always tries to make sure that there was no shortage of resources at the IET. Prof Pathak said that after the construction of the department of mechanical engineering, chemical engineering, the institute should now work to start a new self-finance course in mechatronics and chemical engineering.
He said that work should be done in the Institute for the construction of modern fourth generation laboratories of department of mechanical engineering and chemical engineering.
On this occasion, IET director Prof Vineet Kansal said that all the pending construction works of IET was completed during last five years. He said that at present there is no shortage of infrastructure in the IET.
University registrar Nand Lal Singh said that due to untiring efforts of Prof Pathak, IET has brought quality in academic and research related work. He said that the university would continue to extend all possible help in the development of IET.
