Eight years back, N’Golo Kante was playing with Boulogne in the third tier of French football. Then, after a couple of years with Caen, he signed for Leicester City in a move that would catapult him to the top echelons of the sport. By 2016, Kante was a Premier League champion and, five more years down the line, he has won the Champions League with Chelsea, having won the World Cup with France on the way.
