SERO-SURVEY IN STATE FROM JUNE 4, RESULTS LIKELY BY MONTH-END
LUCKNOW : Chief minister Yogi Adityanath also announced that a sero- survey will begin in the state from June 4 and the results were likely to come by the month-end.
Sero-survey or seroprevalence studies are based on analysis of antibodies through blood sample collection. Periodic sero-surveillance to monitor the Covid-19 trend has been going on in the country, including UP.
“It’s important to do a serosurvey. Sample collection for it will begin on June 4. Results and analysis of the survey are likely to come by June-end,” he said.
CM VIRTUALLY INAUGURATES COVID CARE CENTRE IN VRINDAVAN
LUCKNOW: Chief minister Yogi Adityanath on Monday inaugurated virtually the Vatsalya Covid care centre in Vrindavan. The centre is operated by the Paramshakti Peeth, a religious organisation.
The fight against Covid will become easier with the cooperation of the religious outfits and all sections of society, he said. He greeted Mahamandaleshwar Parmanand Maharaj and Sadhvi Rithambara for the establishment of the centre, said a government statement.
Yogi said Vatsalya gram (village) was a praiseworthy project that was helping children and people abandoned by the society.
