Ghaziabad admin launches village solidarity scheme
Ghaziabad district administration on Monday launched “village solidarity scheme” for paving way for development of villages through harmony among people, mainly the newly elected village heads and former village heads, said a statement from the Ghaziabad district administration. The district administration said it was often observed, according to some studies, that division in the villages on political lines or social animosity became hurdles in the development in villages.
So, “Gram Sadbhavana” (village solidarity) scheme was conceptualised and launched to overcome this problem.
Ghaziabad district magistrate Ajay Shankar Pandey said the administration intended to pave way for all-round development of the villages in the district by sorting out issues and disputes there, establishing peace and promoting unity.
