Ghaziabad admin launches village solidarity scheme

Ghaziabad district administra­tion on Monday launched “village solidarity scheme” for paving way for developmen­t of villages through harmony among people, mainly the newly elected village heads and former village heads, said a statement from the Ghaziabad district administra­tion. The district administra­tion said it was often observed, according to some studies, that division in the villages on political lines or social animosity became hurdles in the developmen­t in villages.

So, “Gram Sadbhavana” (village solidarity) scheme was conceptual­ised and launched to overcome this problem.

Ghaziabad district magistrate Ajay Shankar Pandey said the administra­tion intended to pave way for all-round developmen­t of the villages in the district by sorting out issues and disputes there, establishi­ng peace and promoting unity.
