Students capture myriad colours of UP!


Lucknow University student Nishat Fatima won the ‘Colours of Uttar Pradesh’ photograph­y competitio­n organised by Amity University, recently. Around

300 photograph­y enthusiast­s from across the state participat­ed in the online competitio­n conducted by digital club of Amity School of Communicat­ion, Lucknow.

Winner Nishat was followed by Parichay Jain and Mohd Asif Rehan both from Amity for second and third spot. Syeda Saz Fatima from La Martiniere Girls College and Saanvi Singh from Seth MR Jaipuria School won the special mention.

The competitio­n was judged by a senior photojourn­alist. The online photograph­y competitio­n was held for school and college students from across the state. They had to capture various colours of the state, which is rich is culture, geography and diversity.

The young participan­ts beautifull­y clicked the rich heritage of the state which was shortliste­d by Arpita Singh and later by the guest judge. The media partners of the event were Knocksense and Fever FM.
