Govt committed to protecting farmers’ interests, says Yogi

LUCKNOW : Chief minister Yogi Adityanath said on Wednesday that the state government was committed to protecting the interests of farmers.

He said wheat would be procured from every farmer willing to sell and small and marginal farmers should also be taken care of besides big cultivators.

He said the procurement was not limited to meeting the targets and would continue till farmers reached the procurement centres to sell their produce.
