New study backs vaccines against Covid

A recent study conducted by the researchers at the Rockefeller University in the US analysed antibodies present in the blood of Covid-19 patients, suggests that these people were developing an improved, long lasting defence against the virus when vaccinated. The jab is likely to protect recipients even from the emerging variants, according to the study. The 63 people who were in the study, which has not been peer-reviewed yet, were down with Covid-19 in the spring of last year, as reported by PTI.
