BJP FLAYS MASOOD’S ELEVATION

LUCKNOW : The Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) has reacted sharply to Congress’ decision to elevate Uttar Pradesh (UP) Congress leader Imran Masood to All-India Congress Committee (AICC) secretary in-charge of Delhi.

“The Congress has once again displayed its true ideology .. by appointing a leader as its national secretary who had threatened to kill the Prime Minister,” UP BJP chief Swatantra Dev tweeted.

Swatantra Dev was referring to Masood’s controversial “boti boti” speech made during the 2014 Lok Sabha elections.

Before this, Uttar Pradesh Bharatiya Janata Party chief tweeted in favour of the state government’s decision to cancel class 12 UP Board examinations.

“Grateful to chief minister Yogi Adityanath and deputy chief minister Dinesh Sharma for safeguarding the future of children through their decision,” he tweeted.
