Ensure geo-tagging of field ponds: CS

LUCKNOW : The state-level sanctioning committee (SLSC) of the Pradhan Mantri Krishi Sinchayee Yojana (PMKSY) sanctioned various irrigation projects for 2021-22 at its seventh meeting chaired by chief secretary Rajendra Kumar Tiwari here on Friday. The CS directed the officials to ensure geo-tagging of all the field ponds and asked the horticulture department to set up a committee to finalise the sprinkler and drip irrigation firms. Earlier, the additional chief secretary of agriculture, Devesh Chaturvedi gave a presentation on the scheme being run under the PMKSY and their progress in the state.
