World Environment Day celebrations

: Medical education minister Suresh Khanna dedicated a biodiversity recreational area ‘Shaheed Park’ in Shahjahanpur, while the KGMU VC launched a dishwasher to eliminate the use of plastic plates for serving food to the patients on Saturday. The park is spread in 10-hectare where 1000 saplings were planted.

Meanwhile, former chairperson of the UP pharmacy council and general secretary of the Indian Pharmacist Association Sunil Yadav, head of Ramkrishna Math and Vivekananda Polyclinic Swami Mukthinathananda also planted saplings. Besides, PepsiCo India launched a special initiative to manage plastic waste in Mathura-Vrindavan.
