VAX DRIVE FOR VENDORS, DAILY WAGERS FROM JUNE 14: CM
Yogi for seeking Centre’s permission to allow big industrial institutions to run vaccination camps with their own resources
LUCKNOW : Chief minister Yogi Adityanath on Monday asked the officers concerned to seek the central government’s permission to allow big industrial institutions to run vaccination camps with their own resources. He also announced the launch of a vaccination drive for daily wagers, vendors, drivers (who are routinely in public contact) from June 14.
“Some big industrial institutions have expressed the desire to vaccinate their employees and some others also want to run free vaccination camps for the general public by using their institution’s resources (funds). Communicate with the central government regarding this and once permission is granted, then take this forward. Such a programme will work as a helping hand to the state government’s aim to vaccinate the entire population (eligible age groups) as soon as possible,” said Yogi during Covid-19 review of the state with Team-9.
