NO DISRUPTION IN O2 SUPPLY AT PVT HOSP: OWNER

-

AGRA : The owner of a private hospital in Agra has refuted allegations that 22 patients died here due to disruption of oxygen supply in April last week. His statement came after a viral video allegedly blamed him for the deaths. The doctor said he was assessing the oxygen dependency of patients and 22 were marked out for being highly dependent on oxygen.

District magistrate Prabhu N Singh denied that 22 deaths occurred in a single day at the hospital in April last week. He said the video would be assessed and action would follow, if some concrete facts were found.

“No mock drill was conducted, as stated in the video nor deaths of 22 patients took place in my hospital in a day because of disruption in oxygen supply,” stated the doctor.
