GROUP CLASH AFTER MISBEHAVIOUR WITH DANCER

-

Two groups clashed after some youths reportedly misbehaved with a dancer dancing to the tune of folk number ‘22 me Akhileshji Ayenge’ (Akhileshji will come to power in 2022) in a reception in Gosainpur village here on Monday, police said.

A police officer said that six people suffered minor injuries in the clash. The officer said that there was a reception in Gosainpur village in which a dance programme was also organised. A woman dancer was dancing to “22 me Akhileshji Ayenge” and the locals were showering currency notes on her. In the meantime, someone from the crowd misbehaved with her. A local youth objected to this and there was an argument between two groups which turned into a clash. Later, police reached the spot and pacified both groups.

Station officer, Badagaon, Muralidhar said that an FIR had been registered against six people and a dozen unidentified ones following a complaint by the organier Kanhaiya.

He said a case had also been registered against the organiser under the Epidemic Act for violating the corona curfew.
