Lucknow Metro to resume operations from today

LUCKNOW : After the pandemic-induced halt of around a month, Lucknow Metro train services is all set to resume operations from Wednesday. The metro will operate normally from 7am and the last train will depart at 7 pm from both CCS airport and Munshipulia terminals, said managing director, UP Metro Rail Corporation, Kumar Keshav. “Lucknow Metro Rail Corporation has taken steps to provide the safest travel experience to people since the first wave of the pandemic last year. It was because of those measures that Lucknow Metro registered the fastest ridership recovery post lockdown in the country. This time again, Lucknow Metro has laid special emphasis on contactless travel, sanitisation, social distancing, personal hygiene and cleanliness,” Keshav said.
