Yogi adopts four CHCs; 1 in Ayodhya, Kashi, 2 in Gkp
LUCKNOW: : Chief minister Yogi Adityanath on Tuesday adopted four community health centres (CHCs), one each in Ayodhya, Varanasi, and two in Gorakhpur.
The CHCs that Yogi adopted are Jungle Kaudia and Chargavan in Gorakhpur; Haathi Bazaar in Varanasi, and Masaudha in Ayodhya.
Soon after Yogi adoption announcement, district magistrate, Varanasi, Kaushal Raj Sharma, along with chief medical officer Dr VB Singh, inspected the CHC Haathi Bazaar and instructed the CMO to ensure completion of repairing of the CHC and upgrading the facilities there.
“In the next one and a half months, this hospital will start providing better services in the form of a model CHC. The chief minister has also provided 10 oxygen concentrators for the CHC Hathi Bazaar. This CHC will also become a referral hospital,” said a government statement.
Announcing the scheme last month, the chief minister had urged public representatives —ministers, MPs, MLAs, MLCs, mayors, district panchayat chairpersons and others — to adopt at least one CHC/PHC/ Wellness centre in their respective areas.
On Monday, Yogi also asked the Indian Medical Association (IMA) to join the movement for improvement of the CHCs, PHCs. The state has nearly 850 CHCs and nearly 3,000 PHCs.
Ensure all help to set up MSME units: CM
Chief minister Yogi Adityanath on Tuesday issued instructions to remove all hurdles for setting up of MSME units and assured industrialists all assistance in fighting the crisis generated by the Covid-19 pandemic.
Reviewing progress of setting up of MSME units across the state, Adityanath stressed on coordination between officials of the district industries centre and the MSME department.
The CM stressed on providing all assistance to industrialists to set up MSME units.
