YOGI WELCOMES CENTRE’S MOVE

LUCKNOW : Chief minister Yogi Adityanath has welcomed the Central government’s decision to enhance the MSP of Kharif crops. In a tweet, he said the Central Cabinet had approved proposal for enhanced MSP for various Kharif crops for the 2021-22 marketing season with a view to protecting and promoting interests of farmers.

“The new MSP will ensure 50% to 85% profit to farmers on their cost of cultivation,” he said in the tweet expressing gratitude to PM and Cabinet.
