Ayodhya to host investors’ summit in November
LUCKNOW : Ayodhya Development Authority (ADA) has started preparations for the investors’ summit in Ayodhya scheduled in first week of November. This summit is part of the state government’s plan to make Ayodhya a mega city and a religious tourism destination. The ADA has already sent invites to around 100 companies and industrial houses.

The ADA has already sent invites to around 100 companies and industrial houses. Around 20 companies have already sent their acknowledgement.
ADA vice-chairman Vikas Singh said the focus will be on generating employment at the local level and the state government wants companies associated with the skill development to attend the summit.
Invites have been sent to several institutions engaged in skill development, including Agriculture Skill Council of India, Construction Skill Development Council of India, Food industry and Skill initiative, Gems and Jewelry Skill Council of India, Health Care sector Skill Council, IT Sector Skill Council, Media and Entertainment Skills Council and Infrastructure Equipment Skill Council among others. According to government officials, 12 sectors have been identified for investment and a target of R3000 crore has been set.
The LEA Associates South Asia Private Limited (LASA), India, has prepared the vision document for development of Ayodhya and is also preparing DPR of 21 projects associated with this project.
LASA is one of the leading Indian consultancy firms in the area of infrastructure development and management involved in the ADA. It has executed several infrastructure projects in India.
Prime Minister Narendra Modi had recently reviewed the development plan of Ayodhya in a virtual meeting with chief minister Yogi Adityanath.
