Alamnagar station face-lift to be complete by February next year
LUCKNOW: Passengers boarding a train from Alamnagar railway station here will soon have a hassle-free journey, as the station’s remodelling work is expected to get completed by February next year. Officials said the newer version of Alamnagar railway station (that is being transformed into a satellite station) would not only provide better amenities to the passengers but also shed off the load from the main Charbagh railway station.
“Remodelling work at Alamnagar station is in its last phase. The work is expected to get completed by February 2022. Once complete, it is expected to cut the load of the passengers from the main Charbagh station,” said Jagtosh Shukla, senior divisional commercial manager, Lucknow Division, Northern Railway.
