Street food fest from Dec 14
NEWDELHI:THE National Association of Street Vendors of India (NASVI) and Food Safety and Standards Authority of India (FSSAI) will organise a street food festival, Eat Right Mela, from December 14-16.
The event, which will be held at Indira Gandhi National Centre for Arts, will see more than 500 street food vendors from 26 states, including from South India, participate.
Arbind Singh, national convener of NASVI, said, “This is an opportunity for street food vendors to learn entrepreneurship and ways to relook at their business. Our effort has been to teach vendors about hygiene and presentation and how it can help them boost their business. At the event, more than 500 varieties of street food, regional cuisines will be available for food lovers.”
