AT ‘BADAL BHAJAO, PUNJAB BACHAO’ RALLY, SANGRURU MP SAYS READY TO FACE DOPE TEST AND THOSE LEVELLING CHARGES AGAINST HIM SHOULD ALSO UNDERGO ONE

NURPUR BEDI (RUPNAGAR): Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) organised ‘Badal bhajao, Punjab bachao’ rally here at Nurpur Bedi on Saturday evening.

Addressing a gathering, Sangrur MP said he had tendered an unconditional apology for putting the video of Parliament House on the social media, but people were conspiring to get him dismissed as a Lok Sabha member. He said Union minister Harsimrat Kaur Badal was on the forefront of raising such a demand.

Talking to mediapersons, Mann said opposition parties were trying to show him in poor light over the issue of his “drinking habit”, but “I am ready for a dope test”. “Those levelling allegations against him should also get their dope test done,” he said. Mann lashed out at the SAD-BJP government, saying it had failed on all fronts. He said instead of developing the state, Badals were capturing main businesses of the state.

He also criticised Punjab Congress president Capt Amarinder Singh, saying since the Amritsar MP didn’t attend the Parliament, he (Mann) had to raise the issues of his constituency, which, he said, was a matter of shame.

He said that people of the state would create history by ensuring the victory of Aam Aadmi Party in the coming assembly elections. The rally was also addressed by AAP leaders RS Parmar, Dinesh Chadha, Rajinder Sharma, Gurmail Singh Bara, Jarnail Singh Aulakh, Sanjeev Gautam, Paramjit Singh Pamma, Lakhbir Singh Khwaspura, Amarjit Singh Sandoy, Jai Singh Rori, Raj Kumar, Deepak Tomar and Dinesh Hallan.
