New textile policy will be notified soon: Khattar
KARNAL: Haryana chief minister Manohar Lal Khattar on Monday said the state government was working on a new textile policy for Panipat and Sirsa and that it would be notified by the end of this month. The CM made this announcement during an interaction with the industrialists at Panipat.
He added the government was also working on the single window system for setting up of the new industry in the state and assured that the pending demands of the industrialists will also be accepted.
“Industrialist must also ensure safety and security of workers and pay compensation if they became victim of any tragedy,” he added.
‘TRY TO SORT OUT DISPUTES AMICABLY’
Haryana chief minister Manohar Lal Khattar said people should try to sort out their issues mutually at panchayat level.
The CM was addressing a gathering during an Open Session for public hearing at Panipat and said cases pending with courts should not be raised at the CM window and the Janta Darbar.
At the Janta Darbar in Panipat, the chief minister resolved 127 complaints on the spot.
EMPHASISES WORKING FOR A CLEAN INDIA
The CM, who also launched a cleanliness drive from Panipat, said the country lagged behind in cleanliness .
“Over the past three years, this government has done more for cleanliness than what previous governments did in 70 years,” Khattar claimed.
Earlier, the CM also paid floral tributes to Mahatama Gandhi and Lal Bahadur Shashtri.
