Apex medical body agrees to support Modicare

NEW DELHI: Days after raising objections to Centre’s flagship Ayushman Bharat scheme, , the Indian Medical Association on Friday extended its support. “The government has assured to look into the various issues raised by us. We want it to protect the interests of both the small and medium level hospital (doctors) and the community (patients),” IMA secretary general RN Tandon said.
