CABALLERO'S FAILINGS IN THE TIME OF NEED
CHELSEA 5-1 MAN CITY (FA CUP - 21/2/2016)
It was a truly horrible outing for Caballero as he put in one of the most comical displays the FA Cup has ever seen. He dived the wrong way for Diego Costa’s opener and then completely misjudged a straight shot from Gary Cahill as Chelsea ran riot. Things got worse for him as he failed to read a looping effort from Bertrand Traore and instead of making a save, he waved at the ball as it dropped inside his goal.
MONACO 3-1 MAN CITY (UCL- 16/3/2017)
It was a tough outing for City and Caballero’s error did not make things easy for them. The Argentine goalkeeper was at fault as he misplaced a simple clearance that led to Radamel Falcao's first goal. It proved to be the turning point of the match as Monaco kept attacking and were rewarded with three goals. Caballero tried his best but the constant bombardment proved too much for the him.
