Police send team to arrest scribe who hit out TN CM

-

Tamil Nadu police’s central crime branch on Sunday sent two special teams to New Delhi and Kerala for arresting Tehelka magazine’s former editor Samuel Mathew and two others for alleging Tamil Nadu chief minister Edappadi K Palaniswami’s (EPS) hand in the sequential death of five people associated with late CM J Jayalalithaa’s Kodanad estate. According to officials, the two teams headed by

central Crime Branch deputy commissioner SR Senthilkumar have rushed to New Delhi and Kerala to arrest Mathew and Sayan. “As Mathew and Sayan have revealed allegations against CM EPS, we have received a complaint from the CM’s side saying they are airing baseless allegations to depict the CM in poor light. Hence, we are looking to nab Mathew, Sayan and ‘Wayalar’ Manoj for an enquiry,” said the police sources.
