Phones seized in Bhondsi jail

The Bhondsi Jail authorities have seized two mobile phones and two SIM cards from inmates during a routine check in the barrack, the police said. A case under Section 42A of the Prisons Act was registered against the accused at the Bhondsi police station Friday, police said.Elaborating on the raid, jail officials said the warder was taking a round of barrack number eight on Friday morning when he recovered the mobile phones and SIM cards from two inmates, identified as Sandeep and Chainpal.
