Rape victim gives birth, cops to go for DNA test

After a 20-year-old rape survivor gave birth to a baby boy on Monday night, the police decided to conduct a DNA test to know who fathered the child. Police on January 20 booked patwari Jagjit Singh, his wife Sarabjit Kaur and assistant Jagga Singh for gangraping the woman at Lehra Bega village. Jagjit is already in the police custody for the murder of a farmer.
