NOT A TURKEY SHOOT FOR THE BJP

Apropos ‘Congress faces a steep climb in UP’, (HT, February 11), Rahul Gandhi has inducted his sister Priyanka Gandhi into the Congress as general secretary (Eastern UP) to stop PM Narendra Modi’s juggernaut. She will be a leading light in the election campaign, but the Congress has no match to take on Modi-Shah team. Still, Priyanka-Rahul duo will not leave the field clear for them. The BJP is also on the back foot over many controversial issues. It is certain that this time general elections may not be a turkey shoot for the BJP if it carries the day.
