FAITH IN JUDICIARY RESTORED

-

The Supreme Court has rightly directed Bahujan Samaj Party supremo Mayawati to pay for the statues she had installed in Lucknow when she was the chief minister of Uttar Pradesh. Her extravagance on installing the statues of elephants, her party’s poll symbol, was at the expense of public money. Such judicial interventions make one believe that the country is in safe hands.
