Robbers decamp with ATM containing ₹2L

A gang of robbers decamped with Punjab National Bank’s ATM, containing ₹2 lakh, at Chetanpura village in Ajnala tehsil of the district, during wee hours on Tuesday. Ajnala DSP Harpreet Singh and bank branch’s assistant manager Navneet Singh said that the robbers uprooted the ATM and took it away. Besides, they also decamped with CCTVs installed there. A case has been registered against unknown persons under relevant sections of the Indian Penal Code.
