Assistant commissioner of police (ACP investigation) Palwinder Singh said, “The accused, including four women, allegedly insured sick and dead people on life policies of ‘Aditya Birla Son Life Insurance Company’ and claimed money on the behalf of their family members, using fake documents and certificates.”

A complaint in this regard was filed at Ranjit Avenue police station by complainant Rajiv Sharma on on January 19.
