Govt launches e-licence portal for Ayush medicine

The manufacturers of drugs used for alternative systems of medicine can now apply for licences online on the ministry of Ayush (Ayurveda, Yoga and Naturopathy, Unani, Siddha and Homoeopathy) e-Aushadhi portal launched Wednesday. “The portal will improve transparency, information management, data usability and accountability. The initiative reflects our government’s commitment towards e-governance, ease of doing business and Make in India,” said the minister of state for Ayush, Shripad Yesso Naik.
