SAD (A) SEEKS ADGP’S CUSTODIAL INTERROGATION

BATHINDA : SAD (Amritsar) on Thursday demanded custodial interrogation of additional director general of police Jitender Kumar Jain in relation to Behbal Kalan police firing on anti-sacrilege protesters in October 2015 that killed two persons. Party president Simranjit Singh Mann said it was important to hold custodial interrogation of Jain to know the truth about who ordered police firing on peaceful protesters . He said that Jain was posted as Bathinda range IGP at the time of incident and was close to then deputy chief minister and SAD president Sukhbir Singh Badal.
