5 district police chiefs transferred in J&K

In a major reshuffle ahead of the parliamentary election, the J&K administration has issued transfer and posting order for 44 senior superintendents of police and superintendents of police, including five district police chief. According to the order issued by the Home Department on Wednesday night, Srinagar SSP Imtiyaz Ismail Parray has been transferred and posted as an officer on special duty with Vijay Kumar, Advisor to Governor S P Malik.
