Ambala woman arrested for husband’s murder
Police have arrested a woman and her two accomplices for allegedly murdering her husband in Sirsgarh village of Ambala on February 12.
Sub-inspector (SI) Ranjeet of Mullana police station said victim Naseer’s wife Shah Jahan, and the other two accused — Ramesh and Vinod — were arrested on Thursday, on the complaint of deceased’s brother Matloob.
Ramesh runs a shop and Vinod is an employee at his shop and they were both acquaintances of Naseer. “During the questioning, the three accused confessed to their crime. The woman revealed that she along with her two accomplices pressed the neck of her husband and he immediately died. On Friday, the accused were produced before the court which sent them to judicial custody,” he added.
A police official, seeking anonymity, said Shah Jahan allegedly had an extramarital affair with Ramesh.
