Dhankar warns of FIR against private firm

ROHTAK: Haryana agriculture minister OP Dhankar on Friday warned of an FIR against the topmost official of Bajaj Allianz insurance company if it failed to pay the claims to farmers under the Pradhan Mantri Fasal Bima Yojna (PMFBY) within 15 days.

He was speaking at a meeting of the district grievances redressal committee in Rohtak, where sarpanch of Baiyapur village complained that the farmers in the village had not received their claims for the crops. The minister ordered the insurance company to pay farmers their due for the past two years.
